Thanks for the invite, looking forward to this run this year!!!! and to just get the opportunity to ride in Idaho. The ride looks amazing, from what we've read so far the forums and map books are right on point. We've been eyeing this one up for about a year now, got dates set up for September!

We are looking to take a run at this in September if the fires stay away (fingers crossed). We are also looking to do some riding Mid May before our home terrain in Alberta opens up. Is the D1-D3 area generally passable in Mid May? Is snow still an issue. Any tips or directions appreciated.

Hi Martin Just watched PBR 13 . Speaking of your Hip, I just had my second one done this feb. I was back to riding my mt bike in 3 weeks and a dirt bike in 10. You are not going to believe how much better you will be able to ride . I'm a bit older than you and now think there may be chance I will try the TOI at some point . Don't put it off any longer than you have to. Dave

Hi all,
Question for anyone with knowledge of the T1 route and Idaho’s snow pack. How early in the year can some sections be ridden? Basically what sections are free of snow first and when is that?
I’m planning to ride the Tour 8/2021 and would like to do a little pre running earlier in the season.
Thanks
Darren

Hi Martin big fan here, especially your work on TOI, MUCH appreciated. In applying for the tour I didn’t realize there were two Face Book sites. I found the other private group site a day or so later read it and answered the questions. In reading i see you look for dirt bike content and while my site pic shows a dirt bike I just don’t use Facebook at all really. I did however post up a recent shot of myself and bike so hopefully that counts. Lol.
just not a big fan of FB but I’ll do anything for the tour!!
So just how important is a lengthy dirt bike FB historyLast edited by Arizona Bob 2022; 10-31-2021, 10:07 AM.
