  • 2022 T1 Participants and PLB links. This is where you register for T1 2022

2022 T1 Participants and PLB links - Please read the following

Format: Your name, your location, your PLB page link (a placeholder is fine for now, see below), the motorcycle you intend to bring and a bit about you and your experience. Skip a line between each team member please. Final line is start date. First come first serve on starting dates. We'll respond with your team name.

Deadline is May 31th 2022. No exceptions. For 2022 the limit is 30 teams. First come, first served. Preference will be given to teams who have not attempted the Tour before. All returning teams, regardless of registration date, will go to the back of the queue, but in the order that your team registered.

You must include your PLB page links, one per team member (no TBD or TBAs please, but you may use a temporary placeholder in the form of a made up link in the proper format if you are waiting to activate your subscription. This must be made final by the registration deadline and you will need to edit your posting here to reflect the permanent link). Please note: you get to create your own link as long as it's not already taken, so just choose a placeholder that you think will be unique and it'll save you work later. You will need to figure out how to password protect this page for the days that you are not allowed to publicly upload track points.

Please note that all of your team members must also be a member of the Tour of Idaho Facebook group before your team will be assigned a name and be put on the calendar. It's easier for me if you do all of this before posting your PLB links and dates below. Thanks.

Scott Murray, Nibley UT. https://share.garmin.com/blueline, 2022 KTM 350 EXC-F. Born and raised in beautiful northern Utah. I have been riding dirt bikes for over 20 years and spent my life in the outdoors. Despite a mix of an enduro race here and there, trail riding is my passion. I've spent nearly 25 years in Public Safety and hope to lean on my experiences and skills as a problem solver to make a soloist run at the TOI. Thank you Martin and your planning crew for what appears to be an epic year in 2022.

Jeff Brandner, Bozeman Montana. https://share.garmin.com/jeffbrandner 2019 Husqvarna 501FE Learned a lot in last years T1……strengths and weaknesses. Been taking part in hard endurance events around the world for 30 years and the T1 is next level. Endurance, navigation, technical and amazing terrain. I look forward to finishing the new 2022 course especially the sections past Salmon where we had to bail last year. Such a unique event across the finest parts of this country I feel fortunate to have an opportunity to experience all that waits along the trail.

Drew Coubrough, Bozeman Montana. https://share.garmin.com/drewcoubrough 2022 Beta 500. Been wanting to take on the challenge of TOI for years and when the opportunity came to join a team I couldn't resist. Mtn Enduro is my go to activity and this seems like the logical "crazy" adventure for 2022. Looking forward to all the lifechanging experiences the trail brings.

Steel Anderson, Bozeman Montana. https://share.garmin.com/steelanderson 2019 Husqvarna 501FE Unfinished business. T1 is more than just riding your motorcycle across Idaho. Moto skills are just a small part of completing this event. It’s all the necessary skills put together that make it worth coming back for another try. Thank you Martin for always looking to make this event better every year. Looking forward to long days on the trail….also vying for the name Team Vigilante in 2022……just sayin.

Welcome back, "Home on the Range" You fellas are at the top of the queue for returning teams. You got about halfway through last year so there will be some extra stuff you'll have to ride, but not much. Looking forward to seeing both of you again. Cheers

JR Robinson, Coeur d’Alene, ID. share.garmin.com/JRRobinson. 2017 KTM 350 XCF. Been riding bikes since I was a kid but as a vehicle or a tool (farm kid). Caught the single track bug a few years ago and cant get enough. Grew up in Challis riding horses and hunting/pack trips exploring all over the backcountry. I am an avid outdoorsman and my job keeps me out a fair bit too.

2012 KTM 450 xcw. Dual sporter, trail rider, occasional racer, intermediate trials rider, outdoor enthusiast. I have gotten far too used to following a line on a GPS, looking forward to (but pretty nervous about) the navigational challenge. I've never stepped foot or tire in Idaho.

Nathan Rogers - Demossville, KY https://share.garmin.com/NathanR, 2014 ktm 350 xcf-w. Only about 7 years of riding experience but I'm ready for a challenging adventure of a lifetime. This should be quite the level up from the KAT. I've made a few trips out west but never as far as Idaho. Looking forward to the sights, the trails, and fresh potatoes?

Wecome Team Pure Prairie League. You are in the calendar! Don't worry about the navigation. I used to come out here from KY all of the time in the 70's and 80's to climb without guidebooks and it all worked out just fine. It's a state of mind. You'll figure it out.

Jake Hirschi, South Ogden, Utah. https://share.garmin.com/JHT1Idaho22, 2022 KTM 300, rode my first dirt bike less than a year ago. Lifelong climber. Cams, carabiners, and dirt bikes are the same thing--tools that make adventure possible.

Cuyler Stoker, Preston, Idaho. https://share.garmin.com/Cbosh. 2017 Husky TX300, Sean taught me so I kick ass. I love the outdoors. Two strokes make the world right.

Sean Casey, North Ogden, Utah. https://share.garmin.com/scno. 2020 KTM 300, solid all-around rider with good fix-it skills. Stoked on TOI 2022!

Martin, Garmin does not allow hyphens and at the time I didn't realize. I have updated our PLB links (removing the hyphen in Sean and Cuyler's link) and are shown above correctly, but the hyperlink, and the calendar both have the original and incorrect link. Correct are:

                            share.garmin.com/scno
                            share.garmin.com/Cbosh
