Here is where I ended up w/Saw mount, figured I'd share:

Custom saw mount my dad and I built, super secure, integrated LED light bar mount that plugs into OEM harness and integrated alum scabbard, scabbard is probably going to be removed and replaced with removeable plastic one. I'm not 100% tied to this mount, I have a Bill Dart one that is a bit lower profile, sim weight, but this ones seems to work well and has held up great so far and it secures the saw much better than anything else I've seen out there.

Saw is a Echo 2511, I plan on putting on a 16" Panther bar + 1/4 chain kit, a recommendation from a arborist buddy.

For anyone still planning their lighting options, I highly recommend checking out the many great lights offered by a small outfit here on the East coast called Task Racing @ www.taskracing.com.

Mark, the owner will be sure to help you out if you need advice on ideas, power supply needs and options and specs on his products. I just purchased a new helmet light which is a redesign of the one I bought about 6-7 years ago that I still use with the original batteries. This time I opted for hardwiring the new light to the bike for unlimited use and now I can keep the battery powered light mounted with the battery in my pack as a hands free headlamp when off the bike and/or run it in unison with the new light. Task also has a wide range of handle bar mounted lights and brackets to match.

Mark is a rider himself and he designed lights for 24 hour races as well as recreational riding so there is no doubt that being Baja tested makes them more than adequate for TOI applications. My experiences have been that just one helmet light which overwhelmed my XR headlight was more than enough to light the woods up for race pace night riding so I am stoked to see what 2 of these badboys do, especially with the new design being even larger than its predecessor.
